HEPA filter fitted to the underside of seat acts to restrict the expulsion of particles as well as the absorption of bacteria into the chair.  The filter is fitted during production and remains for the lifetime of the chair.
The inclusion of the HEPA filter in the specification of the chair ensures that Stratos Lab and Stratos Cleanroom are suitable for Class 10 (Fed Standard 209D 1988) or ISO Class 4 (ISO 14644-1)
